Providing Innovative Solutions Today for a Better Tomorrow

Customization

Gateway clients vary across service area (mortgage servicing, loss mitigation providers, foreclosure attorneys, housing counseling agencies); across volume levels (dozens of users per month to thousands of users per month); and across technical infrastructure. Therefore, the right Gateway implementation is not a one-sizes-fit-all approach, but rather contains components of client customization. A typical customized implementation includes:

  • Private Labeling. Creating a seamless user experience by matching Gateway to the client’s website, including logos, terms & conditions, contact information, and color schemes, to name a few.
  • Field Permissioning. Data elements not required by the client can be permissioned away from user view. This can be done on an individual field basis, by data area, or by entire screen.
  • Custom Business Rules. Required fields and document types are client-defined and coded to be system enforced on the front-end.
  • Data Feed & Integration. Standard output files can be easily mapped to any client decisioning system, allowing for the automated upload of borrower application data and documents. Transmission protocols conform to industry standards such as MISMO, and are fully encrypted.
  • Support. Through numerous layers of system monitoring and help desk support, client staff is tooled with robust ongoing production support.
  • Infrastructure. Can be hosted within the client infrastructure as an alternative to Gateway hosting.

Additional areas of customization that can be folded into any implementation include:

  • Borrower Identification and Validation. Gateway can integrate with any client’s master data source to verify user identities against a client reference source. This action can be performed at the registration stage for each new user.
  • Data Scrub. Gateway can apply client-defined field content checks to the front-end, beyond verification of data presence.
  • Application eFax. For clients who do not wish to engage in a full integration and data feed, Gateway can assemble PDF applications and deliver them in real time via eFax upon user submission.
  • Vanilla Front-End. For clients who do not wish to engage in a private label/front-end customization effort, the default (aka ‘Vanilla’) version of the system can be launched plug-and-play in 24 hours.

Ultimately, any Implementation approach can be customized to fit the client delivery required. Forte Group’s goal with each implementation is to fit seamlessly into the broader client architecture of people, process, and technology.
